Filmmaker Tim Burton will visit 92Y in New York City on Dec. 12 to discuss his latest project, Big Eyes. The movie tells the true story of Margaret Keane, known for her paintings of big-eyed children, and her dramatic struggle for ownership of her art.
In the film, Any Adams stars as Margaret, while Christoph Waltz plays her husband Walter, who claimed credit for her work in the 1950s and eventually the couple found themselves in a multimillion-dollar court battle.
Adam and Waltz will join Burton to talk about the film, Keane, and her work.
Tickets to the event start at $45 and can be purchased at 92y.org.
