I spent most of last year house hunting, and when people asked what type of a house I was looking for, two things came to mind – Angela’s house in My So-Called Life, and The Underwood’s townhouse in House of Cards.
I’ve already tracked down The Underwood’s residence, so now it’s time to find The Chase house.
For those of you who are too young to have caught the short-lived series in the 1990s, My So-Called Life starred Claire Danes as Angela Chase, an average teenager navigating the world of high school. The show only lasted one season but it was, and still is, beloved by those who were coming-of-age at the same time as Angela.
According to my friend Lindsay over at I Am Not A Stalker, The Chase house is located at 1110 Glendon Way in South Pasadena, CA. This is not the house featured in pilot, but it was Angela’s home for the rest of the series. It was also the childhood home of Michael Myers in Rob Zombie’s 2007 version of Halloween.
Here’s another fun fact, Brian Krakow’s house from My So-Called Life sits just two doors down, on the opposite side of the road, from Angela’s house. Read more about it at iamnotastalker.com.
