Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman’s new show, Outcast, has started filming in South Carolina.
The pilot, which Kirkman wrote and is executive producing, is based on his new comic, which follows Kyle Barnes (played by Patrick Fugit), who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. As he embarks on a journey to find answers, what he discovers could mean the end of the world.
Philip Glenister has signed on to play Reverend Anderson. Reg E. Cathey will play chief of police Giles, Julia Crockett will portray Kyle’s mother Sarah Barns, Wrenn Schmidt is Kyle’s adopted sister Megan Holter, and Kip Pardue will play her husband, Mark Holter.
Last week, Outcast was spotted filming in Chester County, South Carolina.
