According to police, a New Jersey strip club that was a frequent filming location for The Sopranos was robbed of $30,000 early Sunday morning.
Satin Dolls, located on Route 17 in Lodi, became one the country’s most famous, must-see filming locations after it stood in as Bada Bing on the HBO series.
Two men armed with shotguns fled the strip joint with the money on Sunday. Police are asking anyone with information to call the detective division at 973-473-7600.
This isn’t the first time Satin Dolls has made news this year. Back in February the former owner of the club, Anthony “Tony Lodi” Cardinalle, was reportedly outed as a mob informant. After being charged with participating in a racketeering ring with several high-profile crime families, Cardinalle worked with law enforcement to reduce his own sentence.
