If you’re in Los Angeles around 5:30 AM tomorrow morning, you might be able to catch Chris Pine heading into the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills where he’ll help announce the 2015 Oscar nominees.

Pine, Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs, and directors Alfonso Cuarón and J.J. Abrams, will announce the nominations in all 24 Oscar categories in a special two-part live news conference on Jan. 15.

“Each of the three years we’ve produced the show, we have attempted to refresh elements of the process and the telecast,” said Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron. “This year, we’re honored to start a new tradition that celebrates the contributions of all the nominees by announcing all 24 categories. We’re thrilled that a distinguished actor and two world-class film directors are part of the initial launch.”

The announcements will begin at 5:30 AM during a live news conference with more than 400 media representatives from around the world.

Among the films expected to be nominated for Best Picture are Boyhood, Birdman, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, and The Theory of Everything.
