For the past couple of days, Sherlock fans have been staking out the Gloucester Cathedral in hopes of catching Benedict Cumberbatch or Martin Freeman. Both stars have been spotted filming scenes for the hit BBC show at historic site. Cumberbatch was last seen in Sherlock’s trademark deerstalker, while Freeman was once again sporting a mustache.
Gloucester Cathedral has become a popular location for movies and TV shows in recent years. Harry Potter & The Philosopher’s Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, and The Half Blood Prince were all filmed on the grounds, along with an episode of Doctor Who and the upcoming series The Hollow Crown.
