It might not yet be clear who will be appearing in Suicide Squad, but we do know when it will begin filming. According to the most recent production reports, Suicide Squad will commence filming in Toronto on April 15, 2015.
As for casting, that is still very much up in the air. Since Tom Hardy, who was originally tapped to play Rick Flag, dropped out of the project there has been a never-ending list of rumored replacements. Karl Urban seems to be the frontrunner for the role, but more recent rumors have hinted that Joel Edgerton and Jon Bernthal are also in the running.
As for Deathstroke, Joe Manganiello still seems to be the most likely contender for that role, while Ed Harris is said to be in talks to play Rick Flag Sr.
But, the real news is that there’s a good possibility Ben Affleck will make an appearance in the movie as the Caped Crusader!
