NYC Filming Permits Suspended Through Tuesday Due To Winter Storm Juno

Junoforecast

As Winter Storm Juno bears down on New York City, the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment has suspended ALL filming permits within the city through Tuesday, Jan. 27.

Please be advised that filming permits are suspended as of 6pm for Monday, January 26, 2015, and throughout Tuesday, January 27, 2015, due to winter weather in New York City. Productions filming at interior locations cannot hold alternate side parking.

Though interior filming will be permitted, the vast majority of productions, including SVU, Blue Bloods, The Black List, and Gotham, have canceled Tuesday’s shoots because of travel restrictions and safety concerns.

This is the first time the city has restricted filming permits due to weather since Hurricane Sandy in 2012.

Stay tuned for updates as filming is expected to resume on Wednesday.
