Watching the debut of CSI: Cyber, which not only stars Oscar winner Patricia Arquette but also James Van Der Beek, got me wondering where the rest of JVDB’s former Dawson’s Creek cast members were working these days.
So, I’ve tracked down what the cast of DC is currently working on and where they are filming these new projects. Check them out below:
James Van Der Beek (Dawson) continues working on the new CBS series CSI: Cyber in Los Angeles.
Katie Holmes, who played Joey Potter, is currently filming a major guest starring role on the third season of Ray Donovan in Los Angeles.
Michelle Williams, aka Jen, will soon begin shooting the movie Manchester-by-the-Sea near Boston.
This summer, Joshua Jackson, who was Pacey Witter on DC, will return to The Hamptons, NY to film the second season of The Affair.
Meredith Monroe (Andie McPhee) has recently had guest roles in a number of filmed-in-L.A. TV series including Hart of Dixie, Criminal Minds, and NCIS: L.A.
Kerr Smith (Jack McPhee) can currently be seen in a recurring role on the Los Angeles filmed ABC Family series The Fosters.
Now that she’s wrapped filming the L.A.-filmed series Cougar Town, Busy Phillips will begin filming the new series Vice Principals in Charleston, NC later this year.
Mary Beth Peil, aka Grams, currently co-stars on the hit CBS drama The Good Wife, which films in New York City.
Mary-Margaret Humes, who played Dawson’s mom, most recently filmed the movie Chasing Eagle Rock in Los Angeles.
John Wesley Shipp, better known as Dawson’s dad, has been working on The Flash in Vancouver.
Dylan Neal, aka Doug Witter, now has roles on two TV series that film in Vancouver – Cedar Cove and Arrow.
Last, but certainly not least, Sasha Alexander, who played Pacey’s sister Gretchen Witter, spends much of her time filming the hit TNT series, Rizzoli & Isles, at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.

The only person to have a successful career is Michelle Williams. Can’t believe Meredith Monroe is playing Jamie King mom on Hart of Dixie. Not surprising as her name and age keep changing on imdb every few years. They listed her middle name from Hoyt to Lee and now Leigh. Birth year has increase from 77, to 76, 74, 68 and now 69.
Haha! I know! I didn’t want to say anything when I wrote the post but I couldn’t believe she is playing the mom on HOD either! They’re like the same age, so weird…
Does anyone exactly know Meredith age, the only people that seem to keep changing her age is imdb for some unknown reason.
Authors Kath Tibbs, Darren Crosdale and Thomas Riggs have all published her age to be born 1976, which only makes her a year older than Jamie King. Being a mom at 10 year old is bad but a mom at 1 is worse.
Maybe OVL can shed some light
