‘Now You See Me 2’ begins filming in Macau

According to local sources, the sequel to the 2013 movie Now You See Me is currently filming in Macau.

The roads around Macau Science Centre will be closed tomorrow, Friday, March 13, and next Wednesday, March 18, for filming. The area around Lan Kuai Lau (Rua das Estalagens) will also be closed next Wednesday and Thursday for the shoot.

Now You See Me 2 will feature two new cast members, Daniel Radcliffe, who will play the son of Michael Caine’s character, Arthur Tressler, and Lizzy Caplan who will be the film’s female lead as Isla Fisher won’t be back for the sequel. Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Morgan Freeman, Mark Ruffalo and Michael Caine will all be returning for Now You See Me: The Second Act.

One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their mind-bending spectacles, the Four Horsemen resurface in Now You See Me 2 only to find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet.

Now You See Me: The Second Act will hit theaters on June 10, 2016.
