Is there anything more fun than taking a cross-country road trip with the hope of having an epic star sighting? That is exactly what Sarah and her friends did when they drove 16 hours from the Philadelphia area to the set of The Originals in Conyers, GA on March 3rd.
The Originals, which often substitutes Old Town Conyers for the show’s setting of New Orleans, happened to be filming at The Celtic Tavern when Sarah arrived in Conyers and, with a little patience, the drive down totally paid off!
Here’s what Sarah told us about her experience on the set of The Originals:
We waited for about 6 hours and watched the cast filming throughout the day. During the day, Joseph Morgan and Sebastian Roche were filming a scene outside of The Celtic Tavern in Olde Town Conyers and then, during the evening, Charles Michael Davis, Phoebe Tonkin, and Nathan Parsons were filming a scene behind some of the buildings in the same area. We were able to talk to Sebastian Roche a bit before he was finished and then we chatted with Phoebe and Charles when they came over for the picture. We were talking about where we were from and they were really grateful for the support that their fans have for them and the show. It was really interesting to watch how much really goes into filming one short scene as well as how many people it really takes for the scenes to be filmed. It was really a great evening!
