It’s that time of year again. The Walking Dead will soon return to Senoia, GA to begin filming scenes for season six.

Over the weekend one of our Twitter followers, @SharonFowler_, scoped out “Alexandria” – which is built around the real-life Gin Property development of new homes and brownstones near Morgan Street and Broad Street to Pylant Street in Senoia – and noticed crews were once again starting to prep the area for filming.

The show’s location manager, Mike Riley, attended last week’s city council meeting and told the board he was back in town but that he didn’t “really have that much information right now.”

Typically, The Walking Dead begins filming in the first week in May so we expect season six to begin shooting around May 4, if everything goes according to plan.
