The New York Daily News is reporting that nine crew members were injured on the set of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice early this morning when a car jumped a curb on the Times Square set.
According to an eyewitness report, an SUV, swerving to avoid a cab, careened onto the Seventh Ave sidewalk hitting the crew members.
The victims were all taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. All but two have since been released.
On Sunday, a stunt driver lost control of a Ferrari driving through Times Square and struck two bystanders while filming a scene for The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
Today, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is filming at E 44th St and 2nd in New York City so you may want to proceed with caution if you are going to be walking in the area!
