Normally, I wouldn’t recommend spending an entire day on Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood, CA (did I even mention the last time I as standing on Hollywood Blvd a mouse ran over my foot? no, really) but, given the number of A-Listers that will be hitting Hollywood Blvd today, I’m making an exception.
First, Melissa McCarthy will receive a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, at 6927 Hollywood Boulevard, at 11:30 AM. Guest speakers will include Ellen DeGeneres, director Paul Feig and Ben Falcone.
At 4:00 PM, Dwayne Johnson will be honored with a Hand and Footprint ceremony outside the TCL Chinese Theatre. The north curb lane of Hollywood Blvd., between Highland Ave. and Orange Dr., will be closed, along with the sidewalk, prior to the ceremony.
Finally, around 5:00 PM, George Clooney will be arriving at El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Boulevard, to tape his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Fans are welcome at all of these events but, due to street closures and crowds, we recommend getting there as early as possible.
