‘Outlander’ filming in Dysart Harbour, Fife, Scotland next week

Outlander fans are flocking to Fife, Scotland, and for good reason. The show has filmed in Fife several times and continues to do so, with Dysart Harbour being its latest location.

The harbour has been closed since last week so production crews can assemble sets and green screens to recreate what the area would have looked like in the 1700s. A tall ship has also arrived in the harbour for the shoot.

Filming won’t take place until Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2, but fans are already scoping out the site. Nearby Culross, which plays the fictional village of Cairnsmuir in the show, has also become a hot tourist destination for Outlander fans.
