Missing the live read of the Dawson’s Creek pilot might go down as one of my biggest regrets, ever.
On Sunday, June 6 the ATX Festival closed out with a live reading of the Dawson’s Creek pilot with an all-star cast.
The event “starred” Mae Whitman as Dawson, Patrick J. Adams as Joey, Abigail Spencer as Pacey, Dawson’s Creek co-star Kerr Smith as Jen, Louanne Stephens as Grams, Derek Phillips as Mitch Leery, Stacey Oristano as Gail Leery, Arielle Kebbel as Tamara, Kristian Bruun as Bessie and Nick Wechsler as Bodie and Mr. Gold. Series creator Kevin Williamson served as the narrator.
The best part? Mae Whitman took the stage with a photo of Tim Riggins from the Austin-filmed Friday Night Lights!
