Just a few weeks after wrapping up The Free State of Jones in Louisiana, Matthew McConaughey is headed to New Mexico to begin filming Gold.
The project follows the true story of Kenny Wells, a rough-around-the-edges businessman who thinks he has stumbled into one of the largest gold mines in the world, but it turns out to be bogus.
Filming will take place around Albuquerque from mid-August through mid-September. The movie also stars Edgar Ramirez, Michelle Williams and Corey Stoll.
Gold will be shot Thailand and New York.
