‘Star Trek: The Cruise’ sets sail in 2017 with host William Shatner

It was announced today that the first official Star Trek cruise will be hosted by the original Captain James Tiberius Kirk, William Shatner.

“I am excited to be the host of Star Trek: The Cruise,” William Shatner said. “When I was told that this was the first authorized Star Trek cruise and part of the 50th anniversary celebration, I just knew that my participation would be something that our fans would enjoy. It should be a lot of fun.”

Marina Sirtis, Jonathan Frakes, Denise Crosby and John de Lancie from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Robert Picardo from Star Trek: Voyager and James Darren from Deep Space Nine will all join Shatner on Star Trek: The Cruise.

The six day, six night cruise sets sail from Miami on January 9, 2017. It will make stops in Cozumel, Mexico, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas.

Prices range from $975 for an Interior Stateroom to $7,500 per person for the the Haven Garden Villa Suite which includes a private garden and hot tub.
