This week, St George’s Hall in Liverpool has been transformed from modern day England to 1920s New York City.

American flags, period lighting, and antique cars are all part of the shoot for the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The production for the new JK Rowling movie, starring Eddie Redmayne, chose Liverpool as the only non-studio location. The rest of the shoot will resume at Warner Bros studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire, next week.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set for worldwide release in 3D and IMAX on November 18, 2016.
