The following is a GUEST POST from SATELLITETVGURU.NET.
Today is the first day of shooting for Dexter in Los Angeles and there is breaking news about a new face on the set. John Lithgow is playing Walter Simmons, a mild-mannered family man who enjoys using unique killing methods to take out his victims in threes which earns him the nickname, The Trinity Killer. Simmons has been tracked to Miami by the returning FBI Special Agent Frank Lundy (Keith Carradine), who two seasons ago had a relationship with Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) but had left to pursue a criminal in Oregon.
Naturally, Dexter (Michael C. Hall) is fascinated by The Trinity Killer, for both his methods and his ability to have carried out three decades’ worth of murders without being nabbed.
Lithgow will be featured in all 12 episodes of the fourth season, which premieres on Sunday, Sept. 27.
