Robert De Niro’s upcoming movie, The Comedian, has started filming in NYC.
Filming began about 3 weeks ago and has continued at various locations, primarily in Manhattan, including locations at Delancey St and Chrystie St, NYC and 8th Ave and 25th St, NYC, over the last few days.
Taylor Hackford is directing the project, which also stars Leslie Mann. According to Deadline, “Mann plays a character who befriends an acerbic standup comic (De Niro) after they unexpectedly connect at a wedding.”
