Last week, a rumor that Sylvester Stallone was spotted in Atlanta, heading to the set of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, surfaced. Reportedly, Sly was spotted leaving the same hotel where the rest of the cast is staying, with a script in hand.

Potential spoilers ahead, this is what we were told from someone on set: 

Now, this week, we’ve confirmed with someone on the set that Sylvester Stallone has indeed been filming scenes for Guardians of the Galaxy 2. The tipster, who wishes to remain anonymous, also told us, “His costume looks a lot like Judge Dredd.”

The sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy, starring Chris Pratt, has been filming almost entirely at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta since last month, with just a couple of days spend shooting at the Georgia International Convention Center.

In addition to the Sly Stallone scoop, our tipster said there was also a scene shot last week that involved Howard the Duck, confirming the speculation that he may appear in GOTG2.

The movie will continue filming in Atlanta for the next few months and is expected to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
