‘Better Call Saul’ season 3 begins filming in September; Extras needed in Albuquerque

Season 3 of Better Call Saul won’t start filming until September but, during last week’s Vulture Festival, creator Peter Gould gave a few clues about where the show might be headed. Gould indicated that the series might depart from Breaking Bad’s already established storylines.

“I don’t think anything is predetermined,” Gould explained. “Even with ‘Breaking Bad’ we had a story that was set up from the beginning. ‘Mr. Chips’ turns into ‘Scarface’. This show we have Jimmy McGill becomes Saul Goodman, which in some ways seems not as extreme of a journey, a different kind of journey.”

It’s also rumored that the third season will spend much more time exploring Saul’s life after Walter White.

If you’re in Albuquerque, NM, where Better Call Saul is filmed, and want to be an extra, you can send in your information and a photo to extras@whiteturtlecasting.com now as White Turtle Casting is beginning the casting process for the fall.
