It looks like The Flash will be following the trend that has found so many recent movies (including Justice League and Wonder Woman) filming overseas. According to new reports, The Flash will begin shooting in London in January 2017.

The highly anticipated movie has been getting a lot of buzz online after Ezra Miller made a brief cameo in Suicide Squad as The Flash. (Spoilers ahead)

The Flash’s scene involved Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney) but it wasn’t directed by Suicide Squad director David Ayer, instead Zack Snyder was at the helm for the brief shoot.

Here’s the scoop from Ayer, via Collider:

“…Miller was in costume as The Flash for the first time earlier this year as production began in London on Justice League. It wouldn’t make much sense for Miller to fly all the way to Los Angeles to shoot what amounts to a single shot, and so Snyder simply snapped the footage during the production of Justice League and sent it over to the Suicide Squad post-production team.”
