This fall just keeps getting better and better for me, and all of my fellow Gilmore Girls fans!

Not only will the new episodes of Gilmore Girls debut on Netflix Thanksgiving weekend, it was just announced there will also be a Gilmore Girls Fan Fest taking place on Oct. 21 -23.

The fictional town of Stars Hollow will be brought to life in Washington Depot, Connecticut, which actually served as creator Amy Sherman-Palladino’s inspiration for the small town that Lorelai and Rory call home on the series. Palladino even stayed at the Mayflower Inn in the rural Connecticut town when she began crafting the idea for the show.

The festival will allow fans to interact with some members of the cast while touring the town. Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), Jackson Douglas (Jackson Belleville), Yanic Truesdale (Michel Gerard), Vanessa Marano (April Nardini), Rini Bell (Lulu), Aris Alvarado (Caesar), Biff Yeager (Tom), and Ted Rooney (Morey) will all be in attendance to participate in a panel discussion at the Town Hall.

The fest will also host several Gilmore-themed events, such as a knit-a-thon, coffee at the hardware store, and Friday Night Dinners. There will also be screenings of the pilot episode, the finale, and 10 episodes voted on by fans.

Tickets are available now on www.gilmoregirlsfanfest.com.
