Marvel and Netflix are continuing their partnership to bring new content to the small screen with The Defenders.
So far, Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage have already debuted and, next year, Iron Fist and Punisher will join the roster. Once each series is released, all five characters will come together in The Defenders.
The Defenders is the final series contracted in the partnership between Netflix and Marvel, with season one expected to have eight episodes.
The show has already been spotted filming around NYC’s Hell’s Kitchen – where most of the other Marvel series are also set and filmed – and we can confirm Jessica Jones has already made an appearance.
Like the other series, The Defenders is filming under a working title which we can confirm is, fittingly, Group Therapy or GT.
Though there is no release date for The Defenders yet, Iron Fist is set to premiere next, on March 17, 2017.

You can pretty much discount any review which doesn’t rank Daredevil by a very significant margin as the best of these shows, although they are correct in calling out Punisher as perhaps the finest single character portrayal to date. *Fisk obviously is the greatest*. The show is fine and I’d place it below both series of Daredevil but on par with Luke Cage but way above Iron Fist and Jessica Jones (both suffer from one dimensional cartoonish bad guys and a lack of plot and poor pacing).
