There’s bad news for Bones fans. The cast and crew of the long running FOX series are already filming the show’s final episode in Los Angeles.
David Boreanaz and director of photography Robert Reed Altman have both been tweeting from the set as they shoot episode 12 of season 12, the final show of the series.
FOX promises fans won’t be disappointed by Bones’ final season. “Throughout the final chapter, fans will see the return of fan-favorite guest stars and squinterns, as well as an old flame from one of the team’s past,” the network said in a statement. “Fans also will experience a wedding, follow an epic serial killer storyline, go undercover in a lumberjack competition and see Booth and Brennan’s marriage get put to the test. As always, new guest stars will be introduced, as well as a final round of gory murders, from which brand-new investigations will arise.”
The season 12 premiere episode, entitled The Final Chapter: The Hope in the Horror, airs on Tuesday, January 3, at 9/8c.
