There hasn’t been much news about the big screen adaption of Maria Semple’s best-selling novel Where’d You Go Bernadette since late 2015.
At the time, it was announced that Richard Linklater was set to direct and Cate Blanchett was attached to star in the movie.
Now, one of our sources in Vancouver, Lindsay B, is reporting the movie will begin shooting there, with Cate Blanchett, in July 2017.
This is great news for fans of the novel, which revolves around a mother named Bernadette Fox, who goes missing prior to a family trip to Antarctica. The book is narrated by her 15-year-old daughter Bee Branch.
