It’s seems like a no-brainer to turn a fictional restaurant from one of TV’s most popular shows into a real restaurant. So, that’s exactly what some smart folks in Covington, GA did a few years ago when they turned the location for the Mystic Grill on The Vampire Diaries into a bar and grill called Mystic Grill.
Fans of The Vampire Diaries will know the Mystic Grill right away from the show, where it was located across the street from the Mystic Falls town square. In real life, it can be found in Covington, GA, the town that played Mystic Falls on the hit series.
The restaurant has been a must see location for fans of the show, many of whom have traveled from all over the world to see it. But, the grill has been able to maintain a local clientele, who frequent the restaurant for it’s “southern cuisine with a modern twist”, as well. After dinner, fans can check out their TVD gift shop and upcoming special events, some of which do include the cast!
