‘Rough Night’, starring Scarlett Johansson, filming reshoots in NYC this week

This week Scarlett Johansson’s new movie Rough Night is filming reshoots in New York City.

Usually, it’s not a great sign when a movie films additional scenes this late in the game (the movie hits theaters on June 16). But, since there’s no word on exactly what they are filming, it’s hard to say what the last minute filming really means.

Zoë Kravitz, Kate McKinnon, Ilana Glazer and Jillian Bell star along with Johansson in this R-rated comedy about a bachelorette party gone wrong. The stars play five best friends from college who reunite in Miami 10 years later but, when the partying ends up taking a dark turn and they accidentally kill a male stripper, the longtime friends have to figure out how to cover it all up.

“Scarlett Johansson is a great actress — really funny,” McKinnon recently told People about her co-star. “She improvises really funny stuff and it’s really rare to find the two rolled into one. And it’s such a cool thing to watch her just work. I sort of just sit there and go, ‘Wow, look at that.’ ”

Today, the movie is filming at Beverley Rd and Argyley Rd, Brooklyn. If you spot Rough Night filming this week, let us know at olv@onlocationvacations.com!
