It was announced in 2015 that the Transformers franchise would get sequels and spin-offs. One of the spin-offs is a still untitled movie centered on Bumblebee, the popular Autobot character.

According to Collider, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed that there will be some connections between Transformers: The Last Knight (to be released on June 23, 2017) and the upcoming Bumblebee spin-off.

This will be the first movie of the franchise not directed by Michael Bay, but rather by Travis Knight.

Although there isn’t much information about the film yet, it has been reported that filming should begin this summer, for a release in 2018.

So you can be on the lookout for signs with “Bumblebee”, “Brighton Falls”, and “Transformers 6”, as they will all be used as working titles.
