Right on schedule, Supergirl is filming its season two finale in Vancouver this week and, from the sounds of it, fans won’t be disappointed.
It’s already been widely reported that Calista Flockhart, who plays Kara’s former boss Cat Grant, will be appearing in the final two episodes of the season. When the show moved to Vancouver from Los Angeles for its second season, Flockhart wasn’t willing to make the move, so this is the first time fans will be seeing her since she took a leave of absence from her company and left James Olsen in charge.
Along with FLockhart, Tyler Hoechlin – who played Superman in the first two episodes of Supergirl season 2 – will be returning for the season finale as well. And, Supergirl has cast genre actor Mark Gibbon as General Zod for the final episodes of the season, too.
