It seems the word is out about the possible Psych movie we first heard about back in March.
Thanks to our Twitter buddy, @lemon_buzz, we were among the first to hear that a Psych feature film was scheduled to begin shooting in Vancouver on May 23rd.

There has been talk about a possible Psych movie ever since the USA series, which starred James Roday as a detective who fakes his psychic abilities, went off the air in 2014.
Back in 2015, Roday said he was on board for a Psych movie:
I think it’s mostly a matter of timing, schedules, and money — which is kind of what it always is. There is certainly no resistance to the idea. It’s just a matter of finding that sweet spot where they have been gone for long enough but not too long. Where the interest is still there and the fans still want it and you really want to strike at the perfect time. I think that is what most of the discussions have been about.
Now, one of Psych’s most beloved guest stars, Cary Elwes, is confirming a movie will be happening sooner, rather than later. When recently asked about the identity of his Psych character, Pierre Despereaux, Elwes said, “It’s a good question, and I believe it all will be revealed in the film that we’re making this summer. We’re all reuniting in July to make some organized chaos.”
In addition to Elwes’ confirmation, Production Weekly has added the series to it’s weekly production list with a May start, just as @lemon_buzz reported weeks ago.
Stay tuned, even though nothing has been confirmed, we’re sensing updates will be coming soon!
