First ‘Riverdale’ Convention is hitting Chicago this spring

Given the success of Supernatural, Walking Dead, and Star Trek fan conventions, it’s no surprise that the hit CW series Riverdale has also been given a convention of it’s own.

The event is set to take place at The Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont, IL April 28-29, 2018. Cole Sprouse, Luke Perry, Madelaine Petsch, Ashleigh Murray and Casey Cott have all been confirmed for the con, along with Charles Melton who will serve as the MC for the event.

Here’s the official announcement about the event from Creation Entertainment:

Riverdale has been a massive hit, combining the classic characters from Archie Comics’ nearly 80-year run with a deep, affecting murder mystery. The show weaves together friendships, struggle, and intrigue so well, that from the first episode we were hooked. If only we could grab a burger at Pop’s while we binged the show! We all know Jughead would approve.

We couldn’t be more excited to bring you the Official Riverdale Convention in Chicago to celebrate a show that has captivated us, and the people who make it what it is. Join some of the stars of Riverdale, off the screen and in person for two days full of excitement, music and fun!

This convention is different from any you’ve ever been to before. We guarantee you a seat to see all the stars, so there’s no camping out or hoping to just catch a glimpse. Your only concern is having the time of your life alongside them!

Tickets are on sale now. Prices range form $70 for one day passes to $379 for the Gold Package which includes reserved seating, celeb autographs, and access to parties. Tickets can be purchased at creationent.com.

  1. Hey Christine! I was looking for a new show to watch as I patiently wait for some favorites to air. Even though I’m not a teenager or young adult, I gave riverdale a shot. Once I started, I couldn’t stop. Stayed up till 3am until I finally fell asleep in middle of episode 8. Cant wait to finish season 1 tonight to see how all these plot lines come together. Pleasantly surprised that I found a show that is binge worthy as many cannot keep my interest past first few episodes
