The hit Starz series Outlander has closed several streets in the Glasgow City Centre this week to shoot scenes for the upcoming season.
Turnbull Street and James Morrison Street at St Andrews Square are closed until midnight, March 15.
Today, Sam Heughan waved to fans who were waiting around St Andrew’s Square.
Heughan stars in the series, along with Caitriona Balfe, which follows a nurse who travels back in time to Scotland and falls in love with a Highlander during the Jacobite rebellion. Outlander is based on a series a books by Diana Gabaldon.
The books and the series have been credited with giving Scotland a major tourism boost.
