It’s ‘SNL’ Ticket Lottery Time!

Getting tickets to Saturday Night Live is tricky.

The only way to get studio audience tickets in advance is to enter the lottery which runs from August 1 – August 31 each year but, if you’re actually lucky enough to get tickets, the bad news is you won’t be able to choose which show you see.

To enter the lottery, send an email to Snltickets@nbcuni.com. You must be at least 16 years old and may only send one email per person. In the body of your email explain why you would like to be a part of the studio audience. If you are selected, you will receive two tickets.

If the lotto doesn’t work out, there are stand-by tickets distributed at 7 a.m. the morning of the show on the 48th Street side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza in NYC. You may choose a stand-by ticket for either the 8 p.m. dress rehearsal or the 11:30 p.m. live broadcast. Stand-by tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis and are one per-person.

Keep in mind, all tickets are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. NBC staff reserve the right to revoke tickets if proper procedures are not followed in the stand-by line, or at the time of the show. Also, keep in mind, stand-by tickets do not guarantee admission.

Good luck! If you get tickets or have gotten tickets in the past, let us know about it in the comments below!
