Grant Wilfley is holding an open call for Sex and the City 2 on Tuesday, August 4th at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 125 West 18th Street, between 6th & 7th Avenues. They are looking for SAG and NON-SAG actors to play Fashion Models, Celebrity types, Upscale socialites, Urban Club goers, Gays and Lesbians, International types (Middle Eastern, Arabic, Asian, European, British), and Professional Soccer Players. The call for SAG will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and NON-SAG will be from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. If you can’t attend the call, email a recent photo and contact info to: sexandthecity2@gwcnyc.com. If you decide to go, show up early! The call has been highly publicized and they are expecting every Samantha, Charlotte, Miranda and Carrie wanna-be in the tri-state area, so be prepared to wait!
Speaking of wanna-bes, E! is reporting Katie Holmes is also joining the cast of SATC2! According to E!, she wants to play a high-powered businesswoman ready to go toe-to-to with Kim Cattrall’s Samantha Jones.
As we’ve reported, the movie will begin filming in New York City on August 19th for two months. They will also spend two weeks in the UK.
