Hayden Christensen, John Leguizamo and Thandie Newton will star in Vanishing on 7th Street, a new film about survivors of a mysterious phenomenon in which, during a blackout, most of the population disappears. The movie is set to begin filming in Detroit on October 12th.

Due to the strengthening Australia currency, The Green Lantern will now be filmed in Mexico, not down under. The movie, starring Ryan Reynolds, was also set to begin next month, but due to the change in venue has also been pushed back to next year.
