‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ filming in Berkshire, England

Filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is about to start in the Swinley Forest area of Berkshire, England.
According to the Leaky Cauldron, “filming has taken up an entire hillside of the forest, and includes lots of scaffolding big sheets of wood forming a wall and some high scaffold towers.”

These pictures show a large “stone” structure that has been built with wood panels around it (green screens maybe?). There is also a photo of a parking restrictions sign that goes through March 12th so we can assume the shoot will last at least that long.

  1. I wonder what this stone structure could represent. The only thing I ever remember from reading the books about Harry and his friends in the forest to go into hiding and then there’s the forbidden Forest scene where Harry Ultimately makes a huge sacrifice. I’m excited to see what they do with the film. Considering its two parts every fan knows they have to be accurate in following the book. Its the last of series in itself, but the legend of Harry Potter will never die, but will be children’s favorite fantasy of all time. 🙂

  2. I cant keep still thinking about the new one coming out!! BTW- Althought they are evil, I find Snape and Malfoy brilliant characters! And Tom Felton is really cute!

  3. Movies are no match to the real story in the book but still I am eagerly waiting to watch the movie…. It would be amazing to see the characters and scenes rather than just imagining it while reading…… I LOVE U HARRY POTTER!!!!
