Nicholas Cage began work on his second consecutive film in Louisiana last week. Cage, who recently wrapped The Hungry Rabbit Jumps in New Orleans, is now working on Drive Angry, in and around Shreveport.
The 3-D thriller is about a man driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The rescue spins out of control with a lot of cars crashing and special effects.
Drive Angry will be filming several action/driving scenes in the southbound lanes of Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 22, 23, 26, 27 and 28, which will be the last day of filming.
These scenes will cause street closures and intermittent traffic interruptions on those days.
