If you’re in Long Beach, CA today, don’t be surprised if you see Christian Slater or Keanu Reeves whip by you in an Indy race car.
This weekend, the annual Grand Prix of Long Beach road race is taking place on the streets of downtown Long Beach. Sunday there is a big pro race but the most popular race of the weekend is Saturday’s Pro/Celebrity race which attracts big name stars with a need for speed.
This year’s celebrity participants include Keanu Reeves, Zachary Levi, Adrien Brody, Christian Slater, Patrick Warburton, Brian Austin Green, Anthony Anderson, Adam Carolla, Tony Hawk, and Jesse McCartney. Mark Wahlberg will also be on hand as Grand Marshal.
Today, the celebs will be getting in some practice for the race all day, which means there will probably be traffic delays, and a few celebrity sightings. Keanu Reeves, Christian Slater and Tony Hawk were spotted at last week’s practice run.
