Samuel L. Jackson, Luke Wilson, and Leslie Bibb are all confirmed to star in Meeting Evil, a noir thriller based on a novel of the same name by Thomas Berger.

Wilson will star as John Felton, a real estate salesman sent into a deep depression by the economic collapse. He ends up on a joy ride with a stranger named Richie (played by Jackson) who brings them down a path towards violence. Bibb will portray Felton’s wife.

Reportedly, the script is “moody with elements of dark comedy.”

Meeting Evil will begin shooting in New Orleans on January 8, 2011 with director Chris Fisher (S. Darko).
