As we reported earlier this week, Leonardo DiCaprio has started filming the biopic J. Edgar, directed by Clint Eastwood, in Los Angeles. Yesterday, Leo was joined on set by Armie Hammer (The Social Network) and Dame Judi Dench, who plays his mother in the film.
The movie recounts FBI director J. Edgar Hoover’s scandalous career and controversial private life which is believed to have included an affair with a male colleague and cross-dressing.
The cast also includes Naomi Watts, Ed Westwick, and Josh Lucas.
