Two new TV pilots are slated to be shot in Central Florida this spring.
“Big Mike” will be produced for A& E and “Bad Mom” for ABC, according to Suzy Spang, vice president of film and entertainment at the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission.
“Bad Mom” will star Jenna Elfman as “a single mom thrust into the role of parenting after her mother — the children’s grandmother — wants out.” Production on “Bad Mom” will be based at Universal Studios Orlando.
“Big Mike” is a detective series staring Greg Grunberg. Greg is the third “Love Bites” cast member to land a new gig, a definite sign that the show is dead, even though they shot several episodes and NBC had already started promoting it.
