News Round-Up: ‘Monte Carlo’ Trailer & updates on ‘Rock of Ages’, ‘Dark Knight Rises’, ‘Perks’, ‘How To Be Single’ & many more!

Please excuse the length of this post but I finally had a chance to post some interesting links I’ve been collecting. Below are updates on some of the movies we’ve been covering in our Daily Filming Locations and a look at what might be coming up next. But first, take a look at the trailer above in which Selena Gomez assumes the life of a British heiress in Monte Carlo, which was shot in Paris last summer. Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy also star.

Hugh Laurie is headed to Papua New Guinea and New Zealand to shoot the big screen adaptation of the best-selling novel Mr. Pip. [Reuters]

– While other states are dropping their incentives, Georgia is keeping their filming incentives intact. [Deadline]

– These photos of Nicole Kidman shooting battles scenes for Hemingway and Gellhorn don’t really scream Martha Gellhorn to me, hopefully it will all come together in the final product. [DailyMail]
