‘Sweethearts n’ Angels’ open casting call in Oklahoma

Another feature film, Sweethearts n’ Angels, will begin filming in Oklahoma this spring and they looking for extras.

The film, starring James Cromwell and 11-year-old TV star Bailee Madison, is scheduled to film in and around Stillwater, OK for five weeks beginning May 2.

The casting department is currently looking for people of all ages, shapes and ethnicities. Extras will typically portray rodeo patrons but also will be needed for street scenes and as passers-by.

The film is also looking for experienced rodeo riders, trick riders, bullfighters and more. For consideration for those roles, people are encouraged to bring riding photos attached to a riding experience resume.

There will be an open call for extras on Saturday at Lowry Activity Center, 315 W 8 in Stillwater, OK on Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you plan to be in Oklahoma but can not attend the open call, you can email a current photo and all contact information including name, age range, city of residence, all phone numbers and email address to Submissions@FreihoferCasting.com. The subject heading of the email must be “Sweethearts Extras.”

On an unrelated note, Oklahoma was hit hard by tornadoes this week and the Red Cross is already on the ground helping out. To make a donation, visit RedCross.org.
