If you’ve been following our Perks of Being A Wallflower Open Thread, you know that fans in Pittsburgh have been pretty busy the last few days tracking Perks from Bethel Presbyterian Church to Peters High School to Friendship and finally to Kings Restaurant yesterday.
Nanz checked out set Mon where they met the latest addition to the cast, Zane Holtz (Make It Or Break It). She told us, “Everyone [on the set] is super nice.”
Niki also checkedout the filming in Friendship on Thursday where she saw the film’s star Emma Watson along with co-star Mae Whitman (Parenthood). You can check out her videos from the set here!
Yesterday, several fans were also lucky enough to meet Emma outside of Kings Restaurant where they shot an overnight scene. Check out some photos of the shoot courtesy of @PGH_is_Gotham.
But, it won’t be long before another big production begins filming in Pittsburgh too! On Monday, Steel Town (previously titled Still I Rise), starring Maggie Gyllenhaal, begins filming in downtown Pittsburgh too, signs for the production have already been spotted! So be on the look out for “Steel” signs around town and be sure to let us know if you have any celeb sightings in Pittsburgh!
