Today, Warner Bros. issued a casting call for Autumn Frost, the working title for Superman: Man of Steel, which will be shot in and around Chicago this summer.
Open casting calls for extras will be held Chicago, Plano and Naperville.
The producers are looking for men, women and children to appear as paid extras. They are also looking for infant twins and “military/athletic types.”
The Superman: Man of Steel castings will be held Saturday and next week. Below are the details:
* June 18th, 11a.m.-4p.m.: DePaul’s Naperville Campus (150 West Warrenville Rd)
* June 22nd, 6-8 p.m.: Plano High School (704 West Abe Street)
* June 25th, 11a.m.-4p.m.: Chicago Academy for the Arts (1010 West Chicago Ave.)

Update: If just being in a movie isn’t enough to entice you to attend one of these casting calls, the latest Superman casting news might change your mind. According to Variety, Russell Crowe has just signed on to play Superman’s biological father Jor-El in Zack. Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon and Antje Traue will also star.
