Mark Wahlberg will return to New Orleans for ‘Broken City’ this fall

Mark Wahlberg spent several weeks earlier this year shooting Contraband in New Orleans, and now it looks like he will be back in town this fall.

Wahlberg has signed on to star in Broken City, along with Russell Crowe, which will be shot in NOLA from Nov. 13 to Jan. 26.

The movie is set in NYC and follows a private eye who gets pulled into a shady mayoral election.

Below a full list of movies filming in Louisiana this fall according to the state’s Film Office.

PRE-PRODUCTION:

Breakout Kings is filming October 18th to February 13th in Baton Rouge.

Broken City starring Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe will shoot November 13th to January 26th in New Orleans.

A new series Common Law will shoot October 10 through mid-February in New Orleans.

A new movie Dogfight (aka Southern Rivals) will shoot October 31st to late January 2012 in New Orleans.

The feature film Pitch Perfect will shoot October 17th to December 16th in Baton Rouge.

Snitch starring Dwayne Johnson and Susan Sarandon will shoot December 3rd to January 20th in Shreveport.

Treme will begin shooting October 31st in New Orleans.

FILMING

Caged is shooting until November 2nd in Shreveport.

G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation starring Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, and Dwayne Johnson is shooting through November 24th in New Orleans.

Hide, a TV movie of the week starring Gosselaar, is filming in and around New Orleans.

Hijacked, a new feature film, is shooting in Baton Rouge.

Switch, a movie of the week starring Kevin Durant is filming through mid-October in Baton Rouge.
