House of Cards, which is a Washington D.C.-set TV series, will be distributed by Netflix and is scheduled for 13 hour-long episodes in its first season. The show marks NetFlix’s first venture into original programming.

The series is based on the novel and British mini-series of the same name and marks the third political drama to shoot in Baltimore in less than year. Game Change and VEEP were also filmed in the city.

  1. Filming has been taking place between the 100-800 block of E Patapsco Ave in Brooklyn for the last few days. They were shooting a driving scene in front of the District Court building today.

  2. Not exactly sure. They were in front of the court building Tuesday & Wednesday. I have not seen them today (3/22). They have been filming on Parapsco since late last week. Positive Image Tattoos says they filmed in front of their location Monday.

  3. Thanks for the information. Do you know how much longer they will be shooting because i can’t do anything until April 8.?
